Yellow, Green and Gold is the new single by Pneumatic Tubes, aka Jesse Chandler, keyboard and woodwinds player for Midlake and Mercury Rev. It’s co-written and sung by Tim Smith (Harp and formerly Midlake). Backing vocals are by Meg Baird (formerly of Espers) with Paul Alexander (formerly of Midlake) on bass and Ben Sloan on drums. A warm, glowing and comforting song, effortlessly carried by Smith’s honeyed voice and Chandler’s mellifluous flute and keys. Taken from the double album Runner's High due out 22nd August 2025.
